Course Description:

In this class we will talk about building construction. We will look at the best way to approach the 90% of collapse calls that fire departments respond to “cars into the building”. 

This class will teach Paratech rakers into wood rakers, doors and window  shores. Building temporary shores and filling in the shores with permanent components.  We will also get into some advanced shores, RCP shoring, raked wall raker shores. Ascending descending slope floor shores. We will also look at Ellis clamps, Ellis swivel cups, and Ellis screw jack shoring. We will also teach structural tie backs.
