This class emphasizes the importance of understanding the basics of fire ground IQ. It covers topics such as riding positions and the significance of gaining position on the fire. By analyzing the theory of truck company intellect, we can understand that the combination of position and purpose leads to intention. It is through our intention that we can determine the degree to which we focus on our objective.

Biography:

Lt. Mickey Farrell

Mickey Farrell is a Lieutenant in the New York City Fire Department, a third-generation firefighter with over 30 years of experience, the last 25 years being with the FDNY. Also a team instructor at the New York City Fire Academy, founder and author of Top Floor Tactics, and host of A View From the Top Floor Podcast.
