Extrication Best Practices
Course Description:
Participants will learn and train on the most up-to-date techniques in vehicle extrication. The processes and skills taught follow best practices and industry standards. Skills learned are applicable in any setting. Whether you are a volunteer firefighter in the rural country or an urban firefighter working on a heavy rescue, this class will teach you how to size up and begin operations that are quick and efficient with any staffing model.
Biography:

Christopher James is a 31-year veteran of the Denver Fife Department. He is currently assigned as a citywide rover on b-shift. Assistant Chief James has spent over twenty years working on both Heavy Rescue Companies as a Firefighter, Engineer, Lieutenant, and Captain. He is certified in several technical rescue disciplines and is a paramedic. Chris has presented and instructed at numerous classes and conferences throughout the country. James loves to teach extrication, live-fire, and professional development.
